Is the PGA Tour Exempt from the Stay at home order in California?

I (JC) Screwed up, big time...

My fat fingers made an error with our t-shirt supplier.

Yes, you guessed it, I ordered the wrong items, sent them to the wrong place, and the sizes, uhhhh.

So My Screw Up, is your gain.

I only have 2XL, 2 L, 7 M, and 6 Smalls. If you would like to purchase a few email me at jc@thealohapress.com because this screw up won't make it to our online store!

Hot news…

In Case you missed our Thursday Aloha Press Show. Jeff and I decided to make a final wager of 2020, honoring the final PGA Tour Event (Mayakoba Classic) in Mexico. I bet Brooks Koepka would beat Justin Thomas for a bottle of Tequila and a scorpion/worm shot. Well, I am here to report please do not miss next week's episode to see me do shots of Scorpion.

Brooks Koepka in rounds 1 & 2 shot even par after missing a 1 ½ foot putt for par on the 5th hole sending him home for the weekend. JT did the opposite of Brooks and shot a 67 to move him past the cut line and into JEFF’s winner circle.

WATCH THE SHOW!!!

The Course looks amazing....

Big GOLF News...

  • Tony Finau has a new flat stick in an attempt to get him his 2nd victory. With a win, he will have won with the weirdest putter, and he might get the boys at the Aloha Press off his back. He is currently T2nd.

  • California is again shutting down. But the PGA Tour is headed back to the West Coast, and the At&t Pro Am will be without fans and only 20 celebrities in this year's tournament.

Who is your favorite Celeb at Pebble?

-Tiger Woods and his son (Charlie) will be playing in the PNC Championship together in the middle of December. But apparently, it was not the big cat who wanted to compete, but Charlie was the one who wanted in on the action. Justin Thomas reported when he hangs out with Charlie,

“For some reason, Charlie just always wants to beat me, it doesn't matter what it is. Although he's never beaten me in golf or a putting contest, he still talks trash just like his dad. It will be fun,” Thomas said. “We'll have that like inner tournament within a tournament, trying to shut his little mouth up, but it will be fun.”

-During last year’s Fedex Cup, Matt Kuchar and longtime Caddie John Wood called it quits. But John Wood is back on the course and is the new on course NBC reporter.

HOW MANY DRIVERS DO YOU NEED?

Earlier in the week, Callum Shinkwin played at the Golf in Dubai Championship on the Euro Tour and was seen carrying two drivers? One was 48 inches in length and the other one was a hole lot shorter. His playing partners commented after his first round in the 60’s, saying he bombed it with both drivers!

Callum will finish outside the 25th this week, but the real question is are you going to carry two drivers?

Why would I need an extra driver? Unless, I have a habit of breaking my first one.

But a few years ago, at the 2019 U.S. Open Phil did something similar. And he did it again when he won his First Masters Championship.

So if you need two drivers, I guess I might need two putters.

Oh wait Adam Scott did that also.

Hmmm. I think we are going to need to continue this discussion on the Aloha Press Show. Which reminds me, go download and subscribe to our channel and podcast.

Can we just admit how much potential Tony Finau has? The guy is an athletic freak and is longer than Bryson without chugging protein shakes hourly. So what’s going on?

Yes, he was in the final group of The Masters last year and almost won The Waste Management, but besides winning in Puerto Rico he hasn’t asserted himself as dominant on tour. He has all the tools needed to win big events on tour but he can’t get it done as of now.

I’m not willing to give up on him yet, but I will say he’s on the hot seat. If he doesn’t make noise in the next year he may be relegated down to “guys I would like to see win” from “guys I think will win”.
