Justin Thomas has returned to Number 1 in the World with this win in Memphis, TN.  JT  (not to be mixed up with the incredibly talented rapper JT Money) started on Sunday four back from Brandon Todd who was at -12.

But at the start of Sunday, the bigger story was JT’s substitute caddie, Bones, was back in the same group as ex player (Phill Mckelson).

The NBC broadcaster, Bones, might have been the best broadcaster in the field this week!

It wasn’t your typical Sunday finish, but it was pretty good.  Brooks came down the stretch and looked like he might take the victory.  But after a bogey on 16, he needed a birdie on 17 and 18.

Brooks did not let us down.  He drained a long putt on 17 for birdie, while JT pushed his drive on 18 into what appeared to be an old grandstand site.  JT pumped his second shot 30 yards right and chipped to tap in range.  Brooks needed a birdie to tie, but he pulled his drive into the lake and made a double to tie for second with Phill and many others.

JT closed out another big week with another big win.  This is his second victory of the year and he did it on the largest/strongest field we have seen this year.  Oh, and he did it with his shirt on. What is this all about? ↓

The PGA Tour wasn’t the only show on the road this week.

It was tough to watch all of the television coverage of golf, but we've got you!

The LPGA tour was back in action after not playing for over 6 months. It started back up in Ohio at the Drive on Championship.  The tournament was a tough and drizzly one.  The ladies played at the historic Inverness Club which has hosted several major championships like the U.S. Opens and PGA Championships.

Danielle Kang played her ass off and finished on 18 with a tap in par.  Celine Boutier made it interesting though, and they battled down the stretch.  Celine had a par putt for the tie but barely missed, crowning Kang as the winner of this pandemic return of the LPGA.  If you missed the action check out these highlights. LPGA

The PGA Tour also had a second event,

The Barracuda Championship in Truckee, California.

They played with a stableford scoring system which truly gave me a headache because they kept explaining and explaining it.  In my eyes, the drama was not there until Yogie showed up.

Friday was filled with jokes about dangerous ants (we will get there; involves Bryson) but then, there was a freaking bear!  Yes, I am aware there are bears in the mountains.

What was in the caddies bag this week? Hopefully not snacks…

But does Pat Perez look about as big as that bear?

Anyways, your winner of the Barracuda was Richy Werenski @ +39 or 15 under par.

So what's up with these ants?

Oh golf and it’s antics.

Bryson DeChambeau please, pretty please, keep drinking the crazy juice!

Bryson attempted to gain relief from a red ant.  It also sounded like he was implying that a red ant was creating a dangerous situation.  But it did not stop Brooks Koepka from making fun of him the following day.

If you haven't seen the clips, it's pure comedy.

Bryson- Check it out!

Brooks- Check it out!

Oh but wait, that’s not all folks.

Bryson also wants to live until he is 130-140.

That means a couple things: 1. Bryson is crazy and 2. I have approximately 98 more years of roasting him because I am only going to live until I'm 130.

Justin Thomas also had no problem bulling Bryson on Twitter

Ahh yes, My favorite segment of Mondays!

  • WGC - Rafa Cabrera Bello took home last place this week with a no cut event.  He also made $30,000. He has explained his interests are surfing, fitness, photography, water sports, soccer, and skiing. Oh yeah and he’s made $8 mill on the PGA Tour.

  • PGA Tour Barracuda Championship - Omar Uresti is 51 and stopped playing on the tour several years prior, but made $7,400.  He also loves fishing, movies, and Longhorn football.

  • LPGA Tour - T77th Mariah Stackhouse is the youngest African American women to play in the 2014 U.S. Open at the age of 17.  Jennifer Chang is a rookie on tour and went to College at USC. They both made a total $1,800 this week.

But the real question I need answered is from you!

Yup You!

What is the craziest animal you have ever seen on the Golf Course?

Anything good. Like a cheetah or a honey badger?

So, I was standing on the number one tee and I was looking out into the fairway and I saw it.  I was not scared because it was a few hundred yards out.  It was big.  I mean real big.  It was lying on the ground next to a giant pile of dirt just off the fairway.  It had a giant belly and reddish face.  Then it looks up at me, nope not an animal just our golf course superintendent changing a sprinkler.
